How to hide HubSpot page builder sidebar & editor chrome

If you build pages or landing pages inside HubSpot, you know the editor ships with a permanent vertical toolbar and panels you can't switch off — helpful sometimes, but between you and the page the rest of the time. Templates have quirks too: floating headers that hover over the canvas while you edit, sticky bars that shadow the exact section you're working on.

Why it gets in the way

The sidebar and floating template elements are platform UI — there's no setting to collapse them, so they compete for attention on every edit. Worst case: an element sits on top of the one you actually need to click, and you can't reach the layer underneath. The fix is simple — hide the element above, and everything below becomes reachable. When you're done, un-hide it from the popup in one click.
