How to hide Zendesk chat widget

Zendesk's Web Widget bundles chat, help-center search, and contact forms into a launcher pinned to the corner of support-heavy sites — visible on every page, not just the help section.

Why it gets in the way

It's heavy (it noticeably delays some sites), and the launcher plus its badge sit over content even on pages where support makes no sense.

The 10-second fix

You can open DevTools, find the element (iframe#launcher and its parent wrapper), and write a custom CSS rule in an ad-blocker. It works until the site changes its markup — HideIt's self-healing selectors handle that for you, and re-hide the element if the site sneaks it back.

Does hiding it break the site?
